Woodbridge Faith (Iman) Center is an Islamic institution in Woodbridge, VA, that delivers essential services to meet the needs of a growing local Muslim community.
Our vision is to establish an Accredited Islamic School for the growing local Muslim community to compete nationally in excellence and meet the needs of a spiritually disadvantaged upcoming generation.
What is Woodbridge Islamic School?
We are Woodbridge Islamic School. A spiritually balanced and inspired Islamic School based in Woodbridge, Virginia.
Here at Woodbridge Islamic School, we believe in promoting spiritual insight into life's experiences in a world where materialism and external influences have overgrown and invaded the sanctity of human life. We take our inspiration and motivations from the tradition, which traces back to the Last and Final Messenger of Allah (SWT). A practice that has been the transferring mechanism of Divine guidance and spiritual enlightenment for all centuries proceeding the time of Rasulullah (SAW).
What sets us apart?
Our philosophical belief is that human life is inherently dignified and sacred because of the infinite value of the human soul. We must strive and enable our children to protect themselves internally from the blemishes of worldly life while simultaneously being able to excel academically. To achieve this balance, we strive to educate our children with proven and time-tested values from successful Islamic figures, communities, and societies throughout the ages. Our children deserve the best of both worlds. We aim to combine traditional Islamic values with the high-quality modern education that we expect of public schools across the country.
What is our plan for the project?
- Open Enrollment and pre registration starting January
- Offer programs (Pre K to 8th grade for boys & girls) Separate spaces for grades 6, 7, and 8.
- Enlist and partner with Islamic school education subject matter experts as consultants.
- Onboard experienced and highly qualified teachers.
- Implement accreditation oriented programs and curriculum.
- Implement an integrated model of education.
- Provide Teachers and Parents with education portals using cloud technologies.
- Provide Faculty & Students Office 365 A1 Education subscriptions at zero expense to the school or the parents due to our non-profit membership with Microsoft.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
There is a deadline for the end of February for us to take advantage of this opportunity in which the collective Muslim Ummah can take a step forward. A team of motivated professionals devoting their days and nights to making this project come to fruition with the Mercy of Allah SWT. We request your timely and generous contributions to help us secure a sacred learning space for our children.
