Selah Sanctuary-Spencer's Recovery
Donation protected
June 7th, 2015 started off as a fairly normal Sunday morning. Little did we know that our drive to church would be interuppted by a sweet pup needing to be rescued.
As we drove down US 41 and saw cars in front of us coming to a stop, it took us a moment to see what was stalling traffic, but it soon became clear that it was a puppy walking in the middle of the highway.
We pulled over and investigated the situation, quickly realizing that this pup was starved and covered in many sores. Without a second thought, we got him in the car and turned around to head home with our new rescue pup--Spencer.
Inspite of his obvious discomfort from his present condition, it is easy to see that all Spencer wants to do is love on people and be a friend and lifetime companion. He had no qualms as he jumped into our car, unafraid of strangers. His tail almost never stopped wagging.
Although our spirits are high and our hearts are filled with joy to be able to help this beautiful creature become healthy again, we also know that it is going to take a lot of vet visits--which means a lot of money.
To help Spencer have a happy, healthy life--and find a forever home--we need your help!
Our initial goal is $1000 to help cover vet bills. Spencer is in need of treatment for a skin condition, he needs to be neutered, tested for heartworm, recieve all of his shots, get a microchip, and any other things that might surface as we get him the attention he needs.
