My dog Mika needs a Leg Amputated
Donation protected

My Husky Mika has been my constant companion and loving friend for the past 12 years of our lives. Like me, she has epilepsy, but her stoic spirit and love of life have been a joy and inspiration to me as I’ve struggled to live with my own disabling brain damage.
For the past 4 years Mika’s leg has grown increasingly worse, but until recently she looked forward to each walk with enthusiasm and dragged me along, keeping me fit. Huskies DO love to pull.
4 years ago Mika was operated on for a benign growth on her leg. The vet did his best but was apologetic that he couldn’t remove all the excess tissue. Recently, her right rear leg began to swell and hurt her. It’s been painful to watch her smile as she limped on our recent walks. She began to lick her sore leg and wore away her skin. Now she can’t walk.
To see my friend Mika in such pain breaks my heart. My mission is to raise $1,750 to pay for her life-saving amputation. If there is one dog who will overcome the handicap of an amputated leg, it is my brave Mika. She is a tough, strong, stoic dog. Walking is the joy of her life.
Please give generously to help save my great friend Mika.
Thank you.
