Support for the Nava Family

As political and economic tensions rise in Venezuela, more and more people are desperate to escape the oppressive country. It's this crisis that forced Mariela Nava and her family to flee Venezuela after being offered a job in Argentina. They used the little funds they had to move their family out of the country. Shortly after beginning her new  work, Mariela found that the job was a scam. This forced her and her family to once again, have to leave and found themselves in Chile. They used all the funds they had to get to Argentina in the first place, and have now been homeless and without food in Chile for several weeks. Mariela was finally able to contact us and asked for a few funds to be able to find temporary housing and food for her family until she's able to find a stable job in Chile. 

We are hoping this collection can be enough to at least get Mariela and her family back up on their feet. Please consider supporting the Nava family as they face this seemingly impossible situation. 

About the organizer & usage of funds:
My name is Dee Diaz and I am Mariela's second cousin. I am from Venezuela and am currently in Smyrna, GA. My mom and I have partnered on this fundraiser. She is the one in direct contact with Mariela. My mom will be withdrawing the funds and securing a wire transfer to Chile in which Mariela will receive 100% of the donations raised on this campaign. The funds will be used by Mariela's family to find temporary shelter and food to get out of the emergency homeless situation they have found themselves in.
