Hello everyone!
The Fox Cities MLK Committee (a group of passionate and experienced community members and leaders from non-profit organizations and schools) are proud to plan and host the 33rd Annual Fox Cities Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration on January 15th, 2023.
This annual event is designed to connect our community to acknowledge and celebrate the impactful legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. and how his ideals are being implemented in the Fox Cities. We are proud to honor our community in this way, by bringing together speakers, performers, community organizations, and individuals to celebrate their achievements and their commitment to bettering our community.
The Fox Cities MLK Day Celebration is free to the public, and we strive to make this event as accessible as possible for everyone in our community. The scope and success of this annual event is largely thanks to donations made by members of our community, which allows us to create impactful programming and provide thanks to our participants for their time and talents. We would be honored by any individual, family, or organization who would be willing to donate so this committee can continue to create an event that our community is proud of and remembers for years to come.
For anyone wishing to donate to the MLK Day Celebration, firstly, thank you so much! Please use this GoFundMe account to donate to our cause. Our finances are handled by United Way of the Fox Cities, so all funds donated here will be transferred to them and will only be used for annual MLK Day programming for the general public.
Please join us for the 33rd Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration on Monday, January 15th from 6pm-7:30pm at the Lawrence University Chapel. We hope to see you there!
