Help the Sammons Family

We are raising money for the Sammons Family.  James,  MacKenzie, and Nixon are a young family who are just beginning to enjoy being a family of three.  James is a dedicated dad and husband.  He works extremely hard to be the primary provider for their family.  He loves to go hiking, mountain biking, playing video games with his uncle and brother-in-law, and most of all spending time with his family. 

On Sunday July, 26th my nephew James Sammons was in a terrible motorcycle accident.  He suffers from multiple broken ribs, contusions on his lung, a broken clavicle,  and a severely fractured skull , resulting in a moderate brain injury.  He spent multiple days in the Intensive Care Unit of the McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah and will remain hospitalized for a few weeks to come.  

The most gut wrenching part for the family has been the inability to see him and be with him in-person to comfort him, encourage him and help him better understand what has happened and why he is not at home with them.  The doctors and staff have provided him with excellent care and continue to express patience as he has a long road of recovery ahead of him. 

They have health insurance that unfortunately will not begin to scratch the surface of the mounting medical bills.  In addition, at the time of the accident they were in the middle of several home improvement projects that need to be completed to keep James safe when he comes back home.  Any amount of donation will be helpful and is greatly appreciated.
