Haiti trip 2017

Haiti,  the beautiful island that God used to capture my heart and set me on a new path in my life. He opened my eyes to the world, to love and experience in a new way of how His heart feels towards us, His children. Its been over 3 years since I left that island to fly to another island on the other side of the world to start this life as a midwife. 

In April I have the opportunity to go back to Haiti on a missions trip with the same church that I first experienced Haitian hearts with. We will be helping with construction of a church in the city of Canaan along with an orphanage. Oh you know my heart and how I love my sweet kiddos && the pure Love they exude.

I am beyond excited. My heart has been needing a  reminder.  A reminder of why I am becoming a midwife, why I am in the states for this season && how my heart is wired towards those in countries of need . You know my heart and how it loves to be in other countries loving people and experiencing new cultures. I believe God is allowing me this trip to Haiti to reignite what He first revealed to my heart that night on the rooftop in Haiti. 

I am needing to raise $1500 to fund this trip which these funds will go toward airfare, transportation & sleeping/food arrangements. This also includes funds to go towards construction materials that will be purchased in Haiti for the church we will be partnering.

I am so grateful for this opportunity, to fly back to this island and to be reminded of how much beauty there is in the world.
