Hello Whale Camp Family!

Whale Camp has been offering life-changing, experiential marine science summer camp programs since 1984. From the big moments like watching a whale breach to the small moments like talking about our hobbies during free time, we make connections through our experience - we build connections with the natural world, with each other, and with ourselves.

Year after year, campers continue to affirm that Whale Camp is a place to be yourself, discover who you are, and meet genuine and lasting friends. Truly caring staff create a safe environment physically and emotionally to help nurture curiosity in our natural world, relationships among campers, and self-confidence and empowerment.

Help us Rebuild our Scholarship Program!

Whale Camp has worked hard over the years to make our unique and impactful program accessible through financial support and small scholarships. Unfortunately, COVID significantly disrupted our programming. We were unable to operate in 2020 and operated on a much smaller scale in Maine in 2021 with increased costs for our very small business. For the last two years we have been rebuilding and see a bright future, but have been unable to provide partial scholarships to campers.

We are seeking support from our community to help us replenish some funds in our scholarship account this summer so that we may again offer financial scholarships to camp! All donations will go directly to help cover tuition. If you've been impacted by Whale Camp as a staff member, camper alumni, or parent and are able to contribute a bit at this time, we'd greatly appreciate an opportunity to increase equity and access for all marine lovers!
