Hey there! I'm Asua, and I’m a commercial film director diving into a passion project that’s been a labor of love for some time. I’m creating a Porsche spec ad that also serves as the pilot for a full-length feature film I envision for the future.

The team behind this ambitious project is our talented DP, Ross Metcalf, with whom I’ve collaborated on several past projects. Ross also served as the cinematographer for the Netflix film *I AM MOTHER* starring Hilary Swank. Our main star is Kelvin Taylor, a New Zealand-American actor with a diverse portfolio, including modeling, commercial work, voice-overs, dance, published writing, and roles in film and TV. I’ve always dreamed of directing automotive commercials, but even more than that, I want to bring my complete vision to life—free from the typical limitations of a standard production. This project is my chance to showcase everything I love: cars, action, and sci-fi, all in one epic commercial. Once it's complete, my goal is to enter it into the Motor Film Awards—the Oscars for car ads. As you can imagine, producing a car commercial is no small feat; it’s expensive due to the gear and resources required. My friend and I have already invested heavily in shooting the car scenes in Queenstown, New Zealand. Now, all that remains is the final piece: filming an intense combat scene in Vietnam with a professional stunt team.

While the amount I’m asking for is likely less than what’s actually needed, any contribution will greatly help the project. Your donation will go toward hiring the studio, camera equipment, stunt team, VFX/CGI, props, wardrobe, sound design, set design, color grading, and more. As you can see, there’s a lot involved. I’ve already gathered an A-class team of professionals I’ve worked with on previous commercial projects, so this won’t be an amateur production—it will be a world-class one on a much smaller budget.

I’ve spent years thinking and planning for this passion project, and now it’s finally taking shape. With your help, this dream can become a reality even sooner.

This isn’t just any commercial; it’s a blend of stunning visuals and a gripping story. At its heart is an immortal warrior on a quest for transcendence. He’s witnessed the rise and fall of civilizations, fought countless battles, and lived through generations—all in search of something he can’t quite grasp.

What drives him? A Porsche, symbolizing his relentless pursuit. Inspired by Yasuke, the first Black samurai, our hero undergoes intense training, preparing himself for the unknown. Through challenging simulations and sheer mental strength, he sharpens his skills, ready to face whatever lies ahead in his extraordinary journey.
