#whatyaNoahboutcancer

Life has thrown the Nieto family a huge curve ball. Their handsome young man, Noah Nieto, has a big fight on his hands, but he isn't fighting alone. Noah has been diagnosed with chondrosarcoma. This is a very rare form of cancer, usually occurring in much older patients. Because Noah has such a large tumor that is wrapped around some important structures, doctors are not able to surgically remove it at this time. They will attempt to shrink it first with a combination of radiation and chemotherapy. This treatment will take place in Phoenix and will require him to stay there for 4-5 days a week. His parents will need to take time off of work to be there for his treatment and as you can imagine will cause a financial hardship on them, They will also endure many unexpected hospital bills.
Noah is such an inspiration to all who know him. He is a phenomenal basketball player and track and field athlete at Empire High School, here within the Vail School District. Noah’s smile brightens any room he enters. We all know Noah is a fighter! He is going to fight and kick this cancer! Bottom line, the Nieto family and much of the Vail community is ready to support and fight this battle right alongside Noah!
We are asking at this time that you help out this amazing young man and his family with prayers, support, positive thoughts, and any monetary donations possible.
