Help for Katy

As many of you may know, Katy had an emergency craniotomy tumor removal at the end of November. The surgery itself has led to some complications. She has needed in-home therapy and extensive medical care. In January, she had a blood infection and spent another week in the hospital. The side effects caused many things that she is not comfortable sharing, as they are not the prettiest to explain. Going forward she is going to need to have many MRIs and medical appointments. She is so thankful to be alive and knows it’s going to be a long road of recovery. She is not willing to give up and we are not giving up on her. The bills keep piling up unfortunately.

Katy is and has always been an amazing friend and a wonderful human being. She is the type of person who will drop everything to help someone who she loves and would even help a stranger. Even if it means she will struggle in some areas of her life. She has a huge heart and a beautiful soul. Katy has enjoyed her work over the years with adults with disabilities and the elderly. She is eager to get back to work but knows that she needs to take care of herself.

Many people have been reaching out to see if there’s anything that they could do to help with the stress. So I wanted to set up this Go Fund Me to help accommodate the extreme medical bills she’s being faced with.
