OUR STORY 

Inspired by a family trip to Washington DC during police week, the Westhampton Beach Brewing Company was born. While dining at a small restaurant, we were able to purchase a pint of beer where a portion of the proceeds were donated to the Washington DC police memorial.  Our business model is very similar. We want to create a company with a business model based on philanthropy and human spirit.  Our product will provide a sustainable flow of support for Long Islanders who have found themselves in a time of need.   WHB Brewing Co. will create a special brew, and for every pint sold a portion of the proceeds will be given to charity.  Just imagine!  A donation made now will grow and last for years!  Now thats what I call a return on investment.  Our next step includes you in this journey. Please help us attain this goal.

THE TEAM

Introducing Brian Sckipp, former COO of Sherwood House Vineyards, John Salvaggio, the former CFO of Sherwood House Vineyards and Kathleen Tedesco, who has over 25 years experience in finance. Together they bring knowlege and experience in production, marketing, distribution and finance. They have spent the last three years researching the craft brew industry. They have spoken to other brewers in the region, traveled to breweries of various sizes and have continued to hone their brewing and business skills. They have worked with local consultants to create a solid business plan based on research that leaves no stone unturned, from startup costs to ongoing business and regulatory costs. But who's going to make the beer you ask?  Meet Dave!




THIS IS DAVE

Our Brew Master, David DeTurris, has been brewing professionally for years.  David is a graduate of Stonybrook University and former head brewer for John Harvards of Lake Grove, N.Y.  He has been the subject of numberous news articles and interviews relating to the craft beer industry and has been the recipient of many awards.  In fact, Dave won best beer at  Tap N.Y,  New York States largest craft brew festival  in 2010!
