Our beloved Pat is getting her new liver today, after a long hard year on the donor list. Pat is a loving wife to her husband Steve and mother to her three children Andrew, Allison and Alex.

Patricia has a hereditary disorder called hemorrhagic telangiectasia that has wreaked havoc on her liver. She has been on the donor list for the past year and during this time while waiting for a viable organ she has been unable to work consistently due to her illness. In addition to dealing with her own sickness she has also been caring for her ailing mother and father. All of this had led to a considerable financial hardship for Pat and her family. Her husband is retired and in a fixed income and prior to her illness her family was dependent on her income from nursing to help make ends meet.

While Pat has remained positive through all of this and is finally getting her new liver today, her and her family still have a large financial burden to deal with due to enormous medical expenses coupled with a reduced income during her illness.

She still has a long road to recovery ahead of her and we ask that you keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Any financial contribution you make to help Pat and her family will be greatly appreciated and used to pay down the overwhelming medical bills associated with her illness.
