Wheel chair van --Transportation needed

Hi, my name is Libby. I am in desparate need of a wheelchair van to get to appointments and to get out into the community. I have rheumatoid vasculitis along with severe rheumatoid arthritis which ultimately has led to the amputation of both of my legs. It is very difficult to ask people for assistance with money, yet I desperately need a wheelchair-accessible vehicle! As my disease progresses, it has become increasingly difficult to transfer in and out of a regular car. Unfortunately, this disease has also crippled my hands so I am not able to use a manual wheelchair. I require the use of a motorized wheelchair to go out.

Insurance doesn't cover the cost of a wheelchair van, and the cost to purchase one is not realistic for a person on disability. I am asking for help with funds to purchase a mobility van. I've lived/lives in Ormond Beach for 50 years I graduated from Seabreeze High School.
