Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle for Independence

Donation protected
Since moving to independent living, my sister Derell has struggled to access the proper transport to help her navigate her day to day activities. Derell enjoys meeting up with friends and colleagues as a part of her daily routine and is unable to do this since she moved from living full time with her father to independent living. She has a passion for working and volunteering within the community for organisations such as care flight and used to participate in this regularly. Purchasing a wheelchair accessible vehicle would facilitate Derells independence and give her a sense of purpose and giving back to the community. Derell recently turned 40 and as her brother I would love to help her in this next stage in her life by giving her the opportunity to get out and experience things we take for granted everyday. Presently, our father, John, still needs to take derell to regular medical appointments for the dentist, check ups, gym visits and more, a vehicle would enable derells carers to facilitate these visits. Derell is an amazing sister and companion to everyone in her life and I would love to be able to give her this opportunity to get out more and have purpose and the same opportunities as others her age. I love my sis and I just want her to experience life and normality like the rest of us.
