Wheelchair and Crutches for Adrian
Donation protected
My name is Rebecca Sorenson and I am a special education teacher at Eagle Academy for Young Men of Southeast Queens. This year, I am honored to have a young man named Adrian in my class. Adrian is a vibrant young man with a passion for learning and a kind heart. Adrian was born with Spina Bifida and as a result he requires a wheelchair. This school year we are eager to encourage Adrian to begin using crutches during his physical therapy sessions. However, due to very high costs, Adrian's family is unable to purchase new crutches. In addition, Adrian would also benifit from the use of an electrical wheelchair to make his daily routines easier. Your donation would make a trademous impact on Adrian's daily life. I am honored to have the opportuity to teach this young man and have created this GoFundMe fundraiser for him becauase he truly embodies all of the characteristics of a Eagle scholar. His resilience, confidence, leadership skills, effort, and determination to be academically excellent make Adrian a excellent role model for other young african american boys. Please donate to this cause in order to help me and my school community ensure that Adrian is given every tool possible to ensure that he is able to live up to his optimal potential!
