Wheelchair costs not covered by medical plan

Hi, my name is Tammy; I am a friend of Kim and Marcel. For those who know them, Marcel has been dealt a dirty hand and diagnosed with Ataxia which has impacted his coordination, loss of fine motor skills, and difficulty walking. He has recently been having more falls and has transitioned to needing a wheelchair in the house. The cost of said wheelchair is roughly $5000 out of pocket. Kim was able to get a used one on Kijiji however, this is not built to his needs. I think we can come together to help them out on this front. They have so many amazing friends and are loved so much. Please help with whatever you can.
