Help Ellie To Buy A Wheelchair Exercise Bike

Hi, I'm Ellie. I'm 38 years old and I was born with a condition called Cerebral Palsy. I am a wheelchair user and am very positive about my disability. My disability affects my legs and arms and my learning.

I have worked hard to keep my strength and movement through swimming, exercise and going to the gym.

Since lockdown I have not been able to go out as I am in the "Clinically Vulnerable" group and I must be very careful. I have noticed that I am finding transferring more difficult as the muscles in my legs have been losing tone and strength.

I am raising money to buy a specialist wheelchair exercise bike called the Tigo 510 by a company called MEDICOTECH in the UK. In the photo you can see where I am having a demonstration of the exercise bike in my home.

Having this bike will mean I can exercise and tone my legs and arms in my own home and build up my strength again.
