Wheelchair Van For Jordan Weyant with DMD.

Hello.. Yes if you're reading this I'm doing this again. 

About a year ago our white wheelchair van for my brother was rolled, and in a serious crash, leaving us with no transportation for my disabled brother who has DMD (Duchene muscular distrophy). 

Shortly after I started up a gofundme to see if we could find a cheap and used van for him so we could go camping and such.. We found one for 1k in NYC, that was "in good condition".. We went to get it which was NOT easy. Looked at it, seller said it was in drivable condition. They sold us it for 800, which we thought yay, maybe we're lucky for once. 

Nope! Once we got home and were able to actually look at it found out it is essentially worth nothing. Don't do this to someone. Especially when they have a shit life. My mother bought 2k in just parts.. But didn't find anyone with the time to fix it, and having it fixed in a shop is out of our budget. Then of course winter came with lots of snow and storms.. So we don't think it's going to make it, or be worth it to fix it in the end with how much is wrong with it. 

That being said we will, I believe, be trying to sell it for parts, along with the parts she bought, to try and get enough to buy either another used or one for cheap.. We really need a vehicle for him, plus just one in general. We have my aunts old car which is slowly biting the dust, and falling apart so we might sell that for parts as well to try and get a GOOD vehicle. 

The reason I'm posting this is because I am doing yet another gofundme for my family.. I will soon be starting work so I myself will be trying to save, but I also have another things to pay so that won't be quick.. 

My family is no good with luck, and haven't been for a while, so this would really help us and improve a lot of things in our life. My brother is 22, and the doctors told my mother he wouldn't get to his 20s so we're very greatful for it. But he has been stuck in his bed for a while.. And I mean years. Finding a aid for him hasn't been easy, let alone getting a decent wheelchair for him.. And now of course a vehicle. We'd really love to make it possible for him to be able to get out and have fun, be with his girlfriend, while he can. Duchene is not a fun disease and slowly weakens the human muscles to the point where they're basically paralyzed. So we have no idea how long he has, he's fine now, and pretty happy, but we'd really like to go out and do more things with him, and let him be with his gf.. 

I know there's a lot of people struggling more but my family has struggled for a while, and this really would help. 

I'm not going to ask for much, just enough to get a decently used one.. I don't think we'd get enough for a new one haha, that'd be a miracle. 

Along with this, if you know any company or someone that'd be willing to buy expensive but brand new car/van parts please let me know. 

We don't need the van right away, but by the end of winter would be great so we can start off spring and summer with going out and doing stuff.

Jordan is a great guy, loving, smart, loves rockets and Nasa. He's happy being able to video chat with his gf I just think it'd be great to give him the chances to see her in person, let alone go camping with my family over the summer.
