Wheelchair Van for Kira

My name is Kim Matson and I am fund raising for my friend Michelle and her daughter.

As y'all know Kira and I have been without a wheelchair accessible vehicle for awhile now. It's made our life SO much more difficult than it already is. She's missed so many Dr's appts and has had to stop taking a medication to help her SMA because we can't get to the specialist in Boston consistently due to failed Medicaid rides or illness. The list of struggles is more than i care to type.

I know I'm not really close with anyone anymore but I know there are very kind people on my friends list. I'm desperate at this point and putting myself in an uncomfortable position and asking for help. It's not for me, it's for my amazing daughter, and her mental and physical wellbeing. If there is anyone that is knowledgeable of organizing fundraisers or wants to help us figure out how to raise some money for a van, I'd be forever grateful.

I see so many people on FB helping others with GoFundMe or fundraisers of all kinds and I wonder why hasn't someone, anyone, I know felt like Kira is worthy of a helping hand?? She's an amazing young lady and I just want her to be happy and healthy. She needs, and deserves, more than what I can do for her these days.
