Sometimes you just have to suck up your pride, let naysayers be happy and ask for help. In less that thirty days I have had to replace three tires and have two rims repaired along with work to balljoints and waiting to have other things repaired....all due to road conditions and the places and frequency of my travels. The majority of my travel is due to rescue efforts over numerous WV counties. Everyone tells me they cannot come to me due to not having a car, no gas money, so on and so forth. I dont have a total on the amount of puppies that have been saved to my personal rescue this year alone but I'm pretty positive it's well over 200....plus all the others I've sent to other rescues. So on top of my stress, mental and physical exhaustion, its costing me....big time. (If anyone wants to see the repair receipts, I'll gladly show you.)
But as of today, my rescue efforts will have to go on hold (other than two promised litters) until I see my efforts arent in vain and know that people support what we do. How? If all of those on my friends list would simply donate one dollar...that would cover this recent repair list. Think about if everyone did $5 or $10....what I could do for the animals!! But people ignore things like this, which I understand. However, its worth a shot right? Also, its tax exempt. :-)
