Wheels for Earl

Donation protected
As many of you know, our brother Jimmy McCullough (aka Earl) has faced innumerable health challenges throughout his entire life, and he has always defied the odds. Earl suffered two strokes a few years ago, which have left him dependent on his family for daily care. Coupled with devastating injuries from a recent fall, Jim is now wheelchair-bound, most likely permanently.

We as a family are touched by the care and concern, and continued prayers, for Earl and our family. Our Grays Ferry and St. Gabe’s community has a long history of helping those in need, and many of you have asked how you can help in some way. We as a family have reached a point where we must humbly ask for that help.

The most pressing need is for a reasonably priced handicapped-accessible van. Our priority is to continue to care for Earl at home, so we are also in the midst of major home renovations in order to accommodate his daily needs.

Our family is most grateful for any contribution you’re able to make. We will use your generosity as best we can to enhance Earl’s quality of life, given his ongoing physical and mental challenges. When Jim no longer requires the use of a wheelchair-accessible van, we plan to pass it along to help another family in need.

On behalf of Jim/Earl, many, many thanks. Please keep all the prayers and well wishes coming.
