WHEELS FOR ZAMU
This campaign is organized by Christ is the answer ministries in partnership with Zamu mission. Our desire is to be Jesus’ hands and feet in Mombasa, but we are only people and we can only do SO MUCH. With four wheels we can do SO MUCH MORE though! Come be a part!

WHO WE ARE
ZAMU mission was established in December, 2019 with a purpose of equipping young Kenyans for missions as well as reaching out to the lost in the city of Mombasa through different ministries.

WHAT WE DO
Since then, we have discovered a lot of ministry opportunities and started a few projects. Here are some of them:
HAPPY&HOLY - evangelical program for high-school students.
ZAMU Active - evangelism through sports. Promotion of a healthy lifestyle in places where people chew mira (legal drug).
Youth Club - bible studies and fun activities for young people we meet on streets of Mombasa.
Kids club - children’s ministry.
Kids ministry in Juvenile prison
Weekly outreach to the girls involved with sex trafficking.
Educational classes (computer classes for guys, mani/pedi classes for girls)
Other than that, in ZAMU we honor the body of Christ and we build a strong connection with the local church by being actively involved in the life of community.
We can really see that all these ministry opportunities are from God and we are joyfully pouring out our lives into these assignments.

Present time need
Recently, due to the global health crisis a lot of our projects have been put on hold. At the same time, a lot of people have lost their jobs because of the lock-down and families are left with no income. A lot of what we do has definitely changed it’s format but the need is greater than ever and there’s so much work for us to do right now. We can’t afford giving into these difficulties. We are visiting families to deliver essential food and household goods along with prayers and the Gospel. However, it is simply impossible for us to get to some remote neighbourhoods without a car. In addition, buying groceries for families in bulk and then walking home carrying everything in our hands is extremely time and energy consuming. Also, we can’t use public transportation because of safety precautions that are currently in place. Moreover, the season of heavy tropical rains will make this simple task of getting around extremely challenging. This is why purchasing a vehicle is not a luxury for us, but an essential tool for our effective ministry and life here.

WHAT WE NEED
We are considering buying a Nissan NV 200. Capacity of this van is enough to fit our team and loads of things we need for our ministries. Also, it does not consume a lot of fuel which is important for us.

YOU CAN PARTICIPATE!
We would like to invite you to prayerfully consider helping ZAMU mission with this purchase.
Any amount will help and be very much appreciated!
