Hi, my name is Jessica, and the photo you see is priceless. You never imagine that in an instant, a family's world can be turned upside down.
In this photo is my brother Brian, his gorgeous wife Clarissa and their son Brian. They actually have 7 children between them.
Sadly though, Brian is now facing unimaginable uncertainty after a heartbreaking incident this week.
After putting their young baby to bed, Brian found his beloved wife Clarissa lying unresponsive on the floor. She had suffered a heart attack. Despite Brian’s heroic efforts to perform CPR, she was without oxygen for over 40 minutes. With a delayed response from medical assistance, Brian managed to get a pulse, but the road ahead is daunting.
We know the road ahead isn't going to be easy, and will take Brian away from work to try and manage the children and the way forward for Clarissa. As a community, we can make a difference.
I’m asking for your help to support Brian and his blended family as he navigates this overwhelming journey to support their 7 children.
We just want to help to alleviate some of the financial stress so Brian can grieve and support his family without worrying about the mortgage, food, bills, medical expenses, and other costs.
