When I Die, Take My Panties....The Movie!

Many of you know my book became an Amazon Bestseller in 2016. I used my success as a platform to educate women about the signs and Ovarian Cancer. I promised my Mom that I would not let another woman be misdiagnosed for a year. Or another family to go through what we went through. I'm proud to say that I know of at least 3 women who were diagnosed Stage 1 after hearing me speak. Every time I hear that, I blow kisses to heaven and say: "we got one!"
This is why this movie is so important. It will give me a much bigger platform to save more lives. No one should lose a family member in this way. No woman should be is diagnosed for a year.
The movie will be an adventure comedy about a mother and daughter learning how to live without each other. It’s not suppose to be funny, but it’s too tragic not to be.
For the last six years I have visualized myself on stage winning an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay or Best Original Song. For six years I have visualized who would play my Mom (Susan Sarandon of course). For six years I have dreamed about this.
But I had no idea how to even start on that journey.
Through a mutual friend, I was introduced to two amazing women who have agreed to write the script! Jessa Zarubica is a writer, director, producer, and actor and has written and her business partner, Cat Del Re is equally as successful. They get me — my irreverence, my passion, and my desire to make a difference for others. They are committed to writing, directing, and producing movies about empowered women, quirky women, and the unique ones who stand out.

I am raising money for development of the script, budget, and sales package to bring this story from book to script to screen.
I just put in $15,000 from my retirement account because I believe in this project so strongly. Jessa told me again and again that she doesn't take on projects she doesn't think she can sell and she has sold 14 scripts!
We are starting this week! We should be doing a table read in Los Angelos at the end of June and ready to sell in July. When (not if) all goes as intended we start filming in Q3 of 2023!!!!!! (I might even be in the movie!)
Will you join me on this epic ride?
If 250 people donated $100 each we have reached our goal.
AND contributions of every size are welcomed!!
You can join me on this epic journey in two ways:
1. Make a donation
2. Share this GoFundMe on your Facebook page and encourage others to make a donation too!
My heart rises up in thankfulness!
“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”
