THE STORY

Adrienne Tirri-Maupin (For The Love Of Pie) and Nathan Maupin (Nathan's Sourdough Bread) are teaming up once again to give you the perfect combination of BREAD, PASTRIES, and COFFEE now as a brick and mortar appropriately named, "WHEN PIE MEETS BREAD". The vision for this new bakery will be conveniently located in Redding California. Redding is our home and we want to help create another building block for this community to enjoy exceptional food and business. This dream is so close to becoming a reality as we have put every effort and resource into making this happen. Now we are asking for YOUR HELP to help us complete the final touches.  Help us finalize this dream so you too can have a place to come and relax with a delicious pastry, or maybe a toasted slice of sourdough bread with melted butter, and of course a hot cup of the best coffee Redding has to offer.



THE BAKERY

Finally a BRICK & MORTAR! As anyone can imagine building the perfect brick and mortar takes a lot of hard work, time, commitment, and of course money. Any business done right has many things that must go into it to create a success. Money becomes a major factor in helping complete all of the tasks at hand. We are not aiming to just create any old bakery, but one that will exceed expectations for all of those who will share and enjoy for many years to come. This bakery will be a place for all who love bread, pastries and coffee to come and SIT AND ENJOY. We ultimately see this bakery filled with great food and drink, GOOD VIBES and lots of happy patrons. We have extensive backgrounds in the culinary arts as Adrienne has been baking and creating special pastries for the Redding community for the past 20 years and Nathan has been baking Artisan Sourdough Bread for the past 8 years. This is now a perfect place to display our talents and love for what we do right in our own backyard for our Redding community. We are creating a bakery with FULL TRANSPARENCY from start to finish! Made fresh daily, people will be able to literally see the bread, pie and pastry process from start to finish and finally right into our customers hands and mouths. It is our desire and intention to make “When Pie Meets Bread” bakery into something special for Redding California, as we bring a BAY-AREA LIKE EXPERIENCE to our neighborhood, as well as help to make our city one of the best places to live!

WE ARE LOOKING TO RAISE 50K! We feel this is the right amount to help us on our journey and complete this bakery the right way. This money will help us with essential equipment and expenses for contracting workers to finalize the building and complete the exterior and interior of the bakery. If we meet and or exceed our goal we will have more freedom and time to achieve the best version of this dream for everyone in our community or those who just simply pass through.

WHAT WE ARE ASKING FROM YOU

We are asking for DONATIONS/CONTRIBUTIONS in helping us meet our goal. Anything you can give will be extremely helpful and appreciated. Nothing is too small. We understand we are living in challenging times especially because of current events that have put many people in a tight position economically, but we feel that what we are offering to our community will pay off for everyone in some form or another as we all gather around to make our world a better place.

PERK #1: $25.00 contribution will receive a FREE CUP OF COFFEE ON US. Come on in when we are open and we'll have you on the list for one free cup of coffee. This is not just ordinary coffee, but the best coffee Redding has to offer. Come sit, enjoy, and sip on the house.

PERK #2: $50.00 contribution will receive ONE FREE CUP OF COFFEE & ONE FREE PASTRY at the GRAND OPENING! Come celebrate with us on the grand opening day and enjoy a cup on us with a pastry.

PERK #3: $100.00 contribution will receive 1 LOAF OF BREAD PER WEEK FOR 2 WEEKS! Pick out your favorite loaf of bread for the week for 2 weeks.

PERK #4: $250.00 contribution will receive 1 LOAF OF BREAD + 1 PASTRY PER WEEK FOR 3 WEEKS!! "Now we're talking" Enjoy a loaf of bread of your choice, plus pastry per week for 3 weeks. You can not go wrong!!



PERK #5: $500.00 contribution will receive YOUR NAME ON THE BRICK WALL (BRONZE LEVEL). We have a beautiful brick wall and one of those bricks is waiting for your name! The brick will be colored bronze with your name elegantly written on to it. Your name will be immortalized as we thank you and remember our very special donors every day!!

PERK #6: $1,000.00 contribution will receive YOUR NAME ON THE BRICK WALL (SILVER LEVEL). We have a beautiful brick wall and one of those bricks is waiting for your name! The brick will be colored silver with your name elegantly written on to it. Your name will be immortalized as we thank you and remember our very special donors every day!! This is some serious BRAGGING RIGHTS!!

PERK #7: $5,000.00 + contribution will receive YOUR NAME ON THE BRICK WALL (GOLD LEVEL). We have a beautiful brick wall and one of those bricks is waiting for your name! The brick will be colored gold with your name elegantly written on to it. Your name will be immortalized as we thank you and remember our very special donors every day!! Your are basically our BEST FRIEND at this point... Hello Best Friend :)

ALL HIGHER LEVEL PERKS WILL RECEIVE LOWER LEVEL PERKS BENEATH IT. (Exception is the brick wall, if you scored GOLD you will forever be GOLD!)
