While I recover from emergent chest surgery

Hi, I created this Gofund Me to hopefully help my family and I get through winter. I was diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in October of 2022 right after having our daughter in July. Genetic testing while pregnant was actually what alerted us to the cancer. I then went through chemo treatment which cut down my ability to work as I was admitted to the hospital numerous times with complications. Just when we thought we were in the clear a mass has shown up in my chest very close to my heart. Within the last 2 weeks I went through a few different scans including a PET scan that showed a high sugar intake in this mass, which means higher risk of it being cancerous. I met with my cardiaothoracic surgeon a few days later and was informed that surgery needed to be done sooner rather than later and waiting could cause it to impact my heart. Surgery is scheduled for Nov 16th with an extensive recovery period. So I’ll be off work for roughly 2-3 months as they have to cut through my sternum to reach the mass along with a minimum 3-5 day hospital admission stay. I won’t be able to lift anything over 5-10 lbs for 2 months which with a 1 year old is almost impossible. With it being winter time my husband’s hours could very well be cut soon which means he needs to work as much as possible now so he is unable to stay home with me and the girls as much as he would like as he is our only income! Please help us make it through this winter with our 2 little girls. The donations would be used towards food diapers, utility bills, rent, etc. necessities to make it.
