Whiskey Sunday Album Fund

In June of 2014, Whiskey Sunday released their debut album, Holy Water, to devoted fans of Southern California and the Heartland of America. Pasadena Weekly said, "It is an earthy worldview and lively story songs that dominate the album, Holy Water." Eight years, innumerable shows, festivals and gigs later, we stand alive, grateful and ready to record our second album.
The Challenges of 2020 began on St. Patrick's, to the day. Lockdown in Los Angeles meant Whiskey Sunday would not play a live show for a year and a half. Our 2-week tour of Ireland, opening for The Young Dubliners was canceled. 2020-2021 we received the deepest well of support from our fans and family. Morale in Whiskey Sunday survived because you showed up for online concerts and our socially distanced shows in San Bernardino County. Because you tuned in to watch us play our charity concert via zoom, June/2021, Whiskey Sunday raised over two thousand dollars for non-profits in Minneapolis and Los Angeles, rebuilding the heavily affected riot/protest communities. Recording is underway at Exposition Studios, Culver City, with our mighty Montana producer, Chad Mckinsey, at the helm.
BIO
Whiskey Sunday is Patrick Joseph Rieger, Vito Gutilla, Chad Mckinsey, Jesse Olema, Bryan Dobbs and Korey Simeone. Rieger, from the icy backstreets of Minneapolis, formed the band in 2011, combining his Americana roots with a hearty pour of revved-up Irish folk, prairie winds, and river-side cabin hymns. Whiskey Sunday has opened for James Fearnley of The Pogues, Flogging Molly's Ted Hutt and Marc Orrell of Dropkick Murphys. They released "Holy Water" in 2014 on Tam O'Shanter Records, the definitive heartland story for the Southern California audience. Music that asks you to pour something single-malt, sit on the porch, and sip reverently.
