Jackson Carnes Fights Defamation Lawsuit
Donation protected
At the age of 29 years old, Jackson Carnes refused to remain silent any longer. At great personal cost, he has chosen to fight for transparency and accountability. And now, he is fighting a defamation lawsuit.
According to the American Bar Association, “whistleblowers who disclose fraud to their employers or government agencies often suffer retaliation” and “whistleblower retaliation takes a serious toll both financially and emotionally.”
Jackson faces mounting legal bills. If this were the end of the story, other whistleblowers would be dissuaded from speaking out. Together, we can write a different ending — one in which our community rallies and supports Jackson, and demonstrates that it embraces the challenge of shining light in dark places.
All proceeds will go to defraying Jackson’s legal expenses. Should any funds remain, they will be dedicated to the legal expenses of other whistleblowers.
