Whistleblower-Irish Prison Service

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Gaibhin  and I am a whistleblower. I am an Assistant Chief Officer in the Irish Prison Service. Since 2018 I have made a number of disclosures involving gross mismanagement of public funds, gross mismanagement of a public service, collusion in covering up the supply of narcotics in prisons and gross breaches of food safety endangering the most medically vulnerable of prisoners As a result of being honest, conscientious and disclosing wrongdoing my employer The Irish Prison Service has used senior level public servants to target my family and I with a 5 year sinister campaign of penalisations, humiliations, deprivations, harassments, endangerment and immense cruelties. They have used your taxes to cover this up, to protect themselves. The Irish Government has delayed and watered down EU legislation and in doing so offers no protection for those who make “protected” disclosures. Whistleblowers are on our own, out on a limb. There is no free legal aid for whistleblowers, just for criminals and the civil servants who target whistleblowers. The Irish Prison Service through their evil actions wilfully destroyed a longstanding 50/50 custody agreement for two of my children. I have suffered unrelenting targeted penalisations including false allegations, arbitrary investigations and I have been hounded out of 4 prisons in 3 years because of my disclosures and those they implicate. I am asking for your support and help in funding a legal process to highlight and fight what Ireland does to whistleblowers & their loved ones, and to highlight my constructive forced retirement from a career I loved, where I believed I made a difference. The last 5 years have taken an enormous toll on my wellbeing and my loved ones, as it does with all whistleblowers. Any monies raised will be solely used for legal services. Should there be a surplus you have my word that it will be used to help others who find themselves penalised for disclosing wrongdoing. The cost of a cup of coffee would be greatly appreciated or even the time to share this appeal on social media ❤️
