Whistles for our Asian elders

We are enraged by the anti-Asian violence that has struck our community. We are especially appalled by the attacks on our Asian elders. Our elders are afraid to go out alone and their lives are compromised by what has been happening. Moms with an Agenda have organized a whistle distribution for our elders and are fundraising to buy 10,000 more whistles to distribute in the Bay Area. These whistles will hopefully give our elders a sense of safety. They can wear them when they go out and blow them when they feel unsafe and get other people's attention or possibly even scare off an attacker.

We have already raised enough to buy 5,000 whistles with breakaway lanyards and instructions in 7 different languages. These will be distributed at food banks, community centers, senior services, etc. and will also be passed out at Asian markets. We have requests for 10,000 more whistles from different organizations working with the Asian community. Help us keep our Asian elders safe.
