HELP Whiston Taekwondo Kids Get Electronic Kit
We are a small taekwondo club with a gym in Huyton, and around 40 students men, women and children, ranging from 4 to 54, training over 4 days per week.
As well as our base in Huyton, we teach out of two centres in Liverpool, Felicity house, where we teach women and specifically those from the Muslim community.
On a Friday evening we hold a training session to teach kids and teens in the Fire Fit hub based in Toxteth.
Martial arts, particularly taekwondo is recognised to know only help with concentration, fitness, health in general, but also mental health. We have been thanked so many times for the health and well being it has brought to all the local areas and individuals.
All coaches are fully qualified level 2 with first aid training and our head coach is also a mental health first aider.
We are desperately trying to raise funds to get new electronic body armours and new electronic pads to take to all venues we train at. With more equipment, we will be able to expand our program and increase our sessions. This equipment will also enable all the students improve their technique, for example, it will allow them to see they are kicking the pads and body armours correctly and with the correct power, helping them progress.
Any donations would be greatly received by the club, please help, your support is appreciated.
Come and join us at our gym Huyton, first month training is free. We have all ages and abilities, there's a class to suit everyone.
Thanks
