White Family Hurricane Helene Cleanup
Donation protected
We were able to make the trip to North Carolina. It’s hard to fully capture the destruction in pictures. Here is a video of our family’s land. Thank you for your continued prayers.
Our family is overwhelmed with gratitude for each and every person who is praying, sending notes, sharing, and donating. Your words of encouragement and acts of generosity are so incredible. Because of YOUR generous hearts we are raising our goal! We will keep working to get as close as we can to our cleanup estimate of $50,000 to $100,000. THANK YOU!!

As storms from hurricane Helene came through Morganton, North Carolina and across the Catawba River Valley, our family's land was devastated by flooding. Six family members lost homes and our gathering cabin was also lost. While immediate needs of clean water and food are the first priorities, the devastation of 6 family members all losing homes in one day is more than we’ve been able to fully process. The first step will be cleaning up the piles of rubble that are left where their homes used to be. As the rivers rose, houses crashed into each other and pieces of these homes have been left scattered in the fields. We will need bulldozers and dump trucks to remove debris that is left throughout the valley. This fundraiser is set up to help with immediate needs such as clean water and food. It is also to help the family start the cleanup process. Just the CLEANUP process is estimated to be $50,000-$100,000. We appreciate your love, prayers, and support.
