White Horse Quorn Flooding Fundraiser

The White Horse Quorn has been drastically affected by the recent flooding. The owners, Dave & Martyn, have been our local landlords for over 14 years.

They play a big part in our local community not only by providing a great service they created The White Horse Wishing Well that gives so much back to local residents.

Dave, Martyn & The White Horse Wishing Well committee give up so much of the spare time and 100% of the money raised goes to those who are in need.

Unfortunately it is them who is in need of our support due to the flooding.

All the contents inside are ruined and need replacing. From the seats in the bar, the flooring throughout & all electrical appliances.

From the little contact I’ve had from the lads, the inside of the pub is destroyed and the water is still rising. Total assessment of the damage is still days away as they cannot get in the pub, but literally everything is under water.

To make matters worse the insurance company have advised due to the pub flooding in the past 100 years they are not covered for any damages

Whether it is the price of a pint you donate or a little more if can, it will all go towards getting the pub back on its feet
