Greetings in the name of the Lord!
I am pleased and honored to invite you to our 20th Annual White House Prayer For Our Nation. The White House Prayer Initiative started in Washington, DC in 1998 from a vision Rev. Dr. Terry Lee received to pray for our leaders, the good of the government, and the nation. In fact, prayer is inextricably linked to the advancement of the Kingdom of God on earth. This vision manifested itself and the “birth” of the White House Prayer Initiative. This event will take place this year on Saturday May 26, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM on The Ellipse of the White House Lawn – the North West Quadrant.
We have been holding this annual event for the past nineteen years and God has granted us “favor” with past Presidential Administrations. We started this journey of faith with President Bill Clinton followed by President George W. Bush, President Barack Obama, and now President Donald J. Trump. This year we are pleased to mobilize spiritual faith-based and interfaith leaders, as well as kingdom ambassadors from across the nation. We believe that at this time in our nation’s history we are obliged and compelled to pray for healing and understanding. Our White House Prayer is about evoking the spirit of God…asking his intercession in the lives and work of national leaders, elected officials, our military, law enforcement, fire departments, families, and most importantly…our youths. We are continuing this journey at a time in our nation’s history when prophesies from our forefathers are manifesting and unfolding.
