Supporting the Kirklands After Crash

Donation protected
The Kirklands would have been preparing for the upcoming school year this week, but their plans were tragically altered when a pickup truck pulling a trailer crashed into their home.

Katey Kirkland died at the scene. She was going to be a senior at Saginaw High School.

Her father, Boswell High School teacher Kevin Kirkland, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries and remains in critical condition.

Katey's mother, Saginaw High School teacher Amy Kirkland, was also inside the home at the time but was not seriously injured. She is charged with the unimaginable task of moving forward through this tragedy.

Funds will be used to cover alternative housing, necessities, and planning services while we figure out who covers what financially.

In the event of excess funds, the Kirkland family will use them to honor Katey's life and legacy.
