Whittington family fire fund

Hello we are Chery Wyzlic and Michelle Gaede, we are starting this go fund me for the Whittington family of 4 from Morton IL.

The Whittington family has struggled with many debilitating heath conditions and

they have been traveling back and forth from Morton IL to Chicago IL every few months for medical treatment while still trying to work and save for a safe home with a wheelchair ramp when they finally found their dream home right in their hometown of Morton IL in October of 2021.

On July 3, 2022

Their oldest son who works 3rd shift was sleeping in the basement when he smelled something and walked up to the main floor only to see flames on the enclosed front porch and the detectors started going off. He rushed through the house yelling for his family, he ran upstairs searching every room. He couldn't find the parents and kicked open the youngest sons (15) door and pulled him out of bed and started down the stairs but the whole front wall of the living room and front door were on fire and they had to run out the back. He couldn't go back in and thought the parents were still trapped inside. He called their phone yelling the house is on fire please call. He didn't realize they were at an appointment 20 minutes away.

The parents raced home only to see their dream house ablaze, but with the grace of God their sons were in the back yard safe from the fire. If you can find it in your heart to donate any amount it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
