Whittington Hospital NICU

Hi I’m Eva Patel.

Earlier this year, my brother Remi was born super early and had to stay in hospital for 5 whole weeks which made me really sad as I didn’t get to meet him for ages. The lovely, kind nurses and doctors looked after him really well and so I want to do something for them to thank them for all the hard work they did to make my brother better so I could finally get to meet him. I also want to help all the other sick little children too so that they can meet their brothers and sisters quickly.

I will be running (but most probably walking!) 5km with my parents to help try and raise as much money as I can and would be super thankful for your help and support.

I start training this week and the money raised will be used for equipment to help new mummies express breast milk. My mummy was loaned such a device to help give Remi the essential nutrients he needed to grow and hope I this will help future premature babies.
