Dale Abler Medical Fund

Dale has been on a difficult health journey for the past few years.  Beginning with a pulmonary embolism in December 2015 which lead to the discovery of two different types of kidney cancer, removal of one of his kidneys and a never been seen before kidney condition. Dale’s local nephrologist determined his case is so rare and delicate it was best to seek additional support from Mayo Clinic.

His Mayo doctor recently recommended an experimental treatment which costs $30,000 per infusion. In the next 6 months, Dale  will require two of these. This fund is being set up in hopes of offsetting the cost of these treatments and allowing Dale the opportunity to focus on healing and his future. 

Dale has been in my life since 1990 when I met him through my life-long friend, his wife Shannon, whom I have known for over 40 years. Dale has positively impacted my life and all those fortunate to know him.  There are many of you that have been undoubtedly affected by these two gems….be it through work, childhood, school, and, of course, all of you softball families.
