Sow and Grow Podcast
Spende geschützt
In 2020 we set out to make a podcast that our production team had never seen(a rare thing in itself). One which would bring a food sovereignty lens to Canadian agriculture. Episode by episode, we'd explore the system that produces our food, looking at the places where this system is failing and, through interviews and discussions, spotlighting ways to make this system more equitable and just for everyone who partakes in it.
With this idea guiding us, and a small group of farmers leading the process, we jumped into securing funding to make it happen. Fast forward to today, and we hope the work of series one and two will speak for itself. We are proud of the content we put out, and based on A LOT of feedback from our listeners, it seems like many of you did too.
With this in mind, we are looking toward how to make the podcast ongoing into the future! Making series one and two was an incredible experience for our all-farmer production team and we've certainly learned a ton in the process.
We can't share too much about what the next series of the podcast will look like yet but we can share that it'll focus on another critical issue facing farmers and especially new and young farmers today...Land Access. Its another huge topic that all our hosts and producers feel deeply connected to as young farmers ourselves. In terms of what you can expect of series three, you can rest assured that it will include the same great team as in series one and two and that we'll bring the same lens of Food Sovereignty to every episode and we'll tap a broad range of farmers and experts to join us along the way.
We know everyone is constantly bombarded with appeals for money these days, and there are many places you can choose to put your money. We hope that after series one and two, you've seen the value in what we're trying to do with this podcast and enjoyed the content we've put into the world.
That's why we've created this fundraising campaign...to ask for your help in continuing to make this podcast happen.
If you can afford to and have enjoyed the podcast we hope you'll consider sending a little money our way to help us continue to make the podcast.
Thanks for your time and support!
Sincerely,
The Sow and Grow Podcast Team
