Who's got my back? Support John!
Donation protected
So John's got cancer. A rare tumor on his spine. That sucks on so many levels, so we need support from all the awesome people in our lives.
John had his first surgery in December to remove as much of the tumor as they could from the back. His next surgery is Wednesday, January 3, and is much more involved. The several teams of doctors will go in through his side and re-open his back to remove two vertebrae. They will deflate his left lung and move some important organs around to make room for the surgery. Then they will take part of a seemingly unnecessary leg bone and use that in place of the vertebrae.
Recovery time in hospital is about 2 weeks, with several weeks of recovery at home.
We appreciate and love you all so much! Thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts, meals, strong drinks, and financial support through this past year.
