Mackenzie’s Funeral

Mackenzie Toni Rose Bockman was born premature on April 26,2023.
She was born with multiple issues, a heart defect and a bowel obstruction being the main issues.
2 months ago the doctors went in to repair Mackenzie’s intestines and bowels in hope she would start being able to eat soon and gain enough weight for her heart surgery. Soon after though she developed a major infection in the intestines that prevented her from healing. She has been fighting this whole time and trying to heal in order to eat.
2 weeks ago they attempted to start feeding her and she could not handle the feedings and ended up with another infection. Unfortunately due to her not being able to eat, her liver is shutting down. It is with a heavy heart, that the decision is being made to withdrawal care as she is in pain and no chance of healing.
Mackenzie is my niece. She is loved by so many people in her short life. This money will be used towards her funeral and burial costs and easing my sister’s mind of the financial burden so she can focus on spending the last few days of Mackenzie’s life with her and not worrying about money.
