Help PACC Dogs Recover Comfortably
Donation protected
Why am I wearing an e-collar while riding a bike? This is why:
I hate e-collars. Unfortunately they are necessary to prevent dogs from licking their wounds, especially after surgery. The collars are very hard and stiff and make it difficult for dogs to eat, drink and sleep, adding to the overall misery. There are more comfortable collars available, but they are expensive and not in a shelter’s budget.
I will ride 20 miles on my bike wearing an e-collar to raise enough money to buy 100 comfy-cones for the Pima Animal Care Center (PACC). The average price for one is $20.
I will be able to take the collar off after a couple of hours. Dogs can't. And some have to wear these collars for a long time.
This fundraiser is supported by Friends of PACC.
Please donate and help make shelter dogs a little more comfortable!
