Retired Marine and his familyneeds help.
April 21st Drew Wickenden was in a tragic tractor trailer accident. A car cut Drew off and when he tried to stop his truck flipped and slid across the intersection until a telephone pole stopped his truck. It took rescuers two hours to cut Drew out of the truck. During the rescue eight pints of blood had to be administered because of the immense blood loss.
Drew is suffering from a broken left femur, shattered pelvis , broke or fractured all of his ribs, and cracked his right femur. There is also significant ligament and nerve damage in his left knee. The doctors will be performing reconstructive surgeries during his stay at the hospital.
Doctors are estimating at least another month in the hospital and then physical therapies. Drew will not be able to work for the next several months and there are still bills that must be paid.
Drew and Lisa currently have four mouths to feed in addition to bills. The past few weeks have dealt the family blow after blow. After Drew's accident the a.c. unit went out in the family's home and Lisa was in a car accident a few days after Drew's. It was the other drivers fault but this means that Lisa is now having to use a rental vehicle.
We are asking for donations to help the Wickenden family during Drew's recovery. No amount is to small to help!
Thank you
