wicky ate a GI-tract-load of string
Donation protected
hello and thank you first for reading/looking/sharing. our cat, wicky, has a walnut brain, and decided that a very long piece of string pulled from one of our couch pillows was a culinary extravaganza. as a result, he needed emergency surgery to remove the piece of string that started from a tangle around the base of his tongue, allllll the way through his GI tract and intestines, and ended in his rectum. he is ok now, but unfortunately, this all cost a lot of money, that we have had to borrow from family, and would really like to return as soon as possible.
we are a disabled household, with my fiancee on permanent disability and SSI, and i his caregiver, paid through the state for his care. suffice it to say, we are not in a very lucrative situation. we also have three other cats who, thus far, have been smarter than wicky in the string department, but still insist on eating and pooping every day, so they also require care.
100% of your donation will go to paying off his medical bills. walnut brain aside, he is a very, very good boy, whose talent for hiding extreme discomfort is both impressive and terrifying.
thank you again,
liz & geoff
