Wideman Family Cemetery

Hello family, this is Rhonda Carr. It was suggested that we create this account to collect donations for fence updates/repairs as well we grass cutting and other landscaping needs. There are several items that need to be done at the cemetery and the few of us that donate cannot do it alone. Please donate money as often as possible to this go fund me. If you prefer to donate direct please contact me for information. The grass needs cut at minimum twice a month and the gentleman who cuts the grass charges $100 everytime he cuts. Grass cutting season is about 6 months here in Alabama; therefore, we need a least $1,200 per year, just for grass. The fence is in need of repair and updates; we need a new entrance gate on the side of the cemetery as it is very dangerous to walk down that busy street especially if you have small children. We also need a new drive in gate as the present one is a rusty eyesore. I feel it is just a matter of time before the city of Vestavia Hills takes matters into their own hands and we are left in the cold.
