Widget Needs Our Help

Hello!

My name is Jennifer, and I am fundraising for a very special coworker. Widget is a Special Education teacher with the Florida Department of Corrections, but she has been out of work since March 1, 2022. She has a special talent for working with the youngest inmates, and they miss seeing her each week.

Widget was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer last week. Chemotherapy started on April 19, 2022. Unfortunately, during this time, she will be unable to work. Our staff would like to raise enough money to cover her house payment and insurance copays and deductibles when she cannot work.

Widget never asks for help, but she really needs us during this time. She is just getting back on her feet after a bout with cervical cancer just over a year ago.
