Wiegand, Teryn, Laurel Fire Loss Fund

Donation protected
On the morning of January 14, Wiegand, Teryn and Laurel, a local Parksville family, suffered another catastrophic loss when their home burnt down. The fire started in the middle of the night and the upstairs of the house was  engulfed in flames before the fire was discovered.  Teryn was the only one home at the time, and thankfully—family dog (and hero of the day) Kairi caught wind of the smoke and woke her up. Teryn and Kairi were able to get out of the house safely through the basement door, her cats running out, but presumed safe.

However, the damage to the house is irreversible. Everything inside has been lost, and the family has lost virtually all of their possessions.  After suffering the recent loss of their beloved mother and wife Heather to cancer in 2018,  the loss of their home is yet another severe blow.  Unfortunately the loss of their home is compounded by the fact that they did not have any fire insurance.

This Go Fund me page has been set up to raise funds to help the family with the expenses they will incur as they struggle through this difficult time to rebuild their lives.  Any donations are appreciated.
