On that fateful day, Sadaf suffered life-altering injuries that left her physically and emotionally shattered. Her husband of only one year intentionally shot her in the face with a rifle. The road to recovery has and will be long and arduous, with numerous surgeries, medical treatments, and therapy sessions. Despite the immense pain she endures, Sadaf continues to display immense strength, resilience, and a determination to rebuild her life.

The aftermath of this tragedy has placed an enormous financial burden on Sadaf and her family. Medical expenses, including ongoing treatments, rehabilitation services, plastic surgery, and specialized therapy, are not only emotionally taxing but also financially draining. Additionally, there are daily living expenses and adjustments required to make her home accessible and safe for her new reality.
