WightTricks’ New Home!
Donazione protetta
Hi, my name is Robbie I’m the head coach and director of WightTricks Academy. We created this fundraiser to help our club WightTricks move into a much larger, more suitable, more purposeful, home.
We are attempting to transform an industrial workshop with office space into a fully functioning tricking gym, with a café, waiting and reception area. As you can imagine, the costs associated with this project are huge, and rising rapidly. From materials, electrics, plumbing, decorating, furniture, equipment, planning, safety, moving, legal fees, and so much more, we are asking our community and beyond for help to make this move as smooth as possible.
As many of you know, since moving into our current unit we've had multiple hurdles to overcome, and as such, we have realised that moving is the only way we can continue to grow and thrive. We're currently unable to open more than 4 hours per day, have restrictions on noise, parking and many other aspects, which is why we have such a big waiting list with no flexibility to add more classes.
In our new premises, we'll have 24/7 access, meaning we can add brand new classes(!!!!!), socials, seminars, international gatherings, sleepovers, birthday parties and much more.
Beyond this, having more space and access to more/better equipment will also do wonders for our students' progression and long-term enjoyment in the sport.
By helping fund us, you are directly helping fund a growing, thriving youth community on the Isle of Wight, a community that brings kids of all ages and abilities together to learn, grow, make friends and celebrate the physicality of movement, a celebration we wish to continue for generations to come.
We firmly believe WightTricks has already heavily impacted its students. Helping us raise funds provides the certainty that we will to continue to do so.
We are extremely grateful and happy for ANY donations to us. No matter how big or small. It all helps and will 100% go towards funding the new gym!
As always, we are so thankful and grateful for such an amazing community. And we can't wait to show you our hopefully finished project after Christmas.
With love and thanks
